How to Sell SSDI Leads
How to sell SSDI leads to disability law firms: one firm per claimant, the same short eligibility screen every firm expects, and a funded balance before the first lead.
SSDI buyers are law firms, and they expect a claimant to be theirs alone. 19 of the 24 SSDI companies in our directory offer exclusive leads, and 12 say each lead goes to one firm only.
The lead is defined by eligibility answers: not represented, under a doctor's care, out of work long term, not on benefits, within an age band. Several sellers publish nearly the same screen, so firms will compare yours against it line by line.
Sign firms in specific states first, have each fund a balance, then generate only there. Write the return policy before launch, because 13 of the 24 publish no credit or replacement terms and firms have learned to ask.
Who buys SSDI leads
SSDI sites describe a few kinds of buyers. Most are disability or multi-practice law firms, and several networks and call buyers take SSDI traffic to resell.
| Buyer | What they buy | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Disability law firms | Exclusive real-time leads or live transfers from claimants in their states who pass the eligibility screen. | Agree the counties, age band and required answers before launch. A few sellers run a territory check first, because volume depends on where the firm practices. |
| Multi-practice firms | SSDI alongside personal injury, workers' comp or mass tort, filtered by practice area and geography. | Give each practice area its own lead type, with its own filters, caps and bids, so a return in one does not muddy the other. |
| Firms that want signed files | Signed cases or retainers rather than raw leads. 10 of the 24 companies sell signed cases in at least one practice area, and one sells SSDI retainers only once an application is filed. | This needs an intake team on your side. If you sell web leads, say so plainly on the first call so the firm judges them as leads. |
| Networks and call buyers | SSDI calls and web leads from publishers, affiliates and call centers, by ping post, API or call transfer. | Those that publish rules want an application listing traffic sources, and a few ban incentivized traffic. Keep a source sub ID on every lead. |
The SSDI lead buyer directory lists every company we found that publicly buys or sells SSDI leads, with what each one says it does. It is a research starting point, with no contact details.
What you are selling
What the 24 SSDI lead companies in our directory say they offer:
| Product | Companies offering it |
|---|---|
| Exclusive leads | 19 of 24 |
| Real-time leads | 18 of 24 |
| Shared leads | 2 of 24 |
| Aged leads | 3 of 24 |
| Inbound calls | 9 of 24 |
| Live transfers | 13 of 24 |
| Booked appointments | 3 of 24 |
| Signed cases or retainers | 10 of 24 |
| Data or lists | 1 of 24 |
| Clicks | 1 of 24 |
Counts cover everything each company says it sells, which can include other verticals.
Start with exclusive real-time web leads, the product most SSDI companies in our directory offer. Live transfers and signed cases are common here, but Juiced distributes web leads, so transfers and calls need separate call tracking.
What to capture and screen for
- Whether the claimant already has a lawyer, the most common SSDI screen in our directory.
- Whether they are seeing a doctor or getting treatment.
- Whether they are working now.
- Whether they expect to be out of work long term.
- Whether they already receive disability, SSI or retirement benefits.
- Age, since several sellers screen to an older working-age band.
- Their recent work history, which one seller screens on.
- A consent certificate and a source sub ID on every lead.
The field-by-field version is on the SSDI lead distribution page.
Building it, in order
-
Sign firms before you build traffic
Find buyers first. Get each firm's states and counties, the age band it takes, the answers it requires and how many claimants its intake team can call each day. A few SSDI sellers check territory availability before they take on a firm, and you should too.
-
Answer the questions firms ask before they fund
All 10 SSDI companies here that publish a buyer FAQ answer whether leads are exclusive. Several also answer how leads are delivered, whether there is a contract or minimum, what happens to a bad lead and what a lead looks like. Have a sample lead and a one-page answer to each ready for the first call.
-
Take a funded balance, not a free test
SSDI sellers ask for commitments in different ways: an initial deposit credited toward leads, a first purchase of credits, a minimum order, or a first batch the firm pays for before deciding to continue. Pick the simplest: no free sample leads, no promised number of claimants by a date, no invoices. In Juiced the firm funds a wallet before leads arrive and is charged as each lead is delivered.
-
Write the return policy before the first lead
List what earns a credit: wrong or disconnected number, duplicate, wrong state, already represented, underage. List what does not, such as a claimant the firm never reached. Put it in the agreement, not only on a web page; the research found homepages promising more than the terms behind them.
-
Set expectations on the first call
Firms will blame the leads when claimants do not sign. Explain what your screen covers and what it does not, how fast intake should call, and what counts as a return. If you sell web leads, make clear they are not transfers or signed files.
-
Put each eligibility answer in its own field
Add age, seeing_doctor, has_attorney, receiving_benefits, expects_long_term_absence and the work history field. Mark them required for ping so firms can filter and bid on what fits, and keep contact details for the post.
-
Generate only where a funded firm is waiting
Point traffic at the states and counties your funded firms cover. If you use radio, TV or direct mail, as some SSDI sellers do, pick markets where a firm is already funded, because broadcast reaches claimants you cannot target out.
-
Let firms in the same state bid
When several funded firms cover the same state, let them bid above your minimum. The highest bid wins in seconds and the lead still goes to one firm, which is the exclusivity SSDI firms expect.
-
Have overflow ready and trace every return
Unsold leads are the biggest avoidable cost. In Juiced, leads no firm takes go to your own marketplace, where the price falls until someone buys with Buy Now or a standing Buy Order. Store source_sub_id on every lead so you can see which source sends represented or underage claimants and fix or drop it.
What makes SSDI different
- Exclusivity is the norm: 12 of the 24 SSDI companies say each lead goes to one firm only, and only a few offer shared leads.
- The lead is a short eligibility screen, and several sellers publish nearly the same questions.
- Already represented is the most common screen and a common return reason.
- Many sellers offer the same claimant as a web lead, a live transfer or a signed case.
- Broadcast traffic sits beside digital: 3 sellers name radio, and a few name TV or direct mail.
- Territory decides volume, so a few sellers check a firm's states before they take it on.
Common mistakes
- Buying traffic before a firm has funded a balance in that state.
- Skipping the represented question, then arguing over returns.
- Putting all the eligibility answers in one notes field so firms cannot filter on them.
- Offering free test claimants or promising signed cases by a date instead of taking a funded balance.
- Selling one lead to two firms in a market where most sellers promise one firm per lead.
- Promising a replacement policy on the homepage without written criteria in the agreement.
- Having no overflow plan for claimants outside every firm's territory.

Frequently asked
Who buys SSDI leads?
Disability law firms and multi-practice firms, plus several networks and call buyers that take SSDI calls and leads from publishers and resell them.
Which eligibility questions matter most to SSDI firms?
Representation, medical care, work status, expected time out of work and existing benefits are the questions sellers in our directory repeat most. Several also screen by age.
Do SSDI firms sign contracts with lead sellers?
Most SSDI companies in our directory, 14 of the 24, say there is no long-term contract. Some ask for a deposit, credits, a minimum order or a first paid batch instead.
Should I sell SSDI signed cases?
Only if you run intake. 10 of the 24 companies sell signed cases or retainers in at least one practice area, and they do the calling, screening and paperwork themselves. Most new sellers start with exclusive web leads.
How do I keep SSDI returns down?
Ask the representation and benefits questions on the form, screen to each firm's age band and states, write down which return reasons you credit, and trace every return to its source with a source sub ID.
Where do SSDI sellers get traffic?
23 of the 24 generate at least some of their own, through search, social, email and websites. 3 name radio, a few name TV or direct mail, and 7 also buy from publishers, affiliates and call centers.
What do SSDI leads sell for?
No prices are published here. Sellers rarely publish them, and what an SSDI lead sells for depends on whether it is exclusive or shared, a web lead or a call, the geography, how fresh it is and how many buyers want it. The pay-per-lead pricing guide shows how to work out your own floor from cost and let buyers bid above it.
Does Juiced handle SSDI calls or live transfers?
No. Juiced distributes web leads and delivers them by webhook, email or text. It does not track or route phone calls, so if calls are part of your product you need call tracking software for that side.
Selling SSDI leads to more than one buyer?
Juiced is lead distribution software for companies that sell leads. Buyers fund a wallet and bid above your minimum, each lead goes to the highest bid in seconds, and leads that miss their first buyer go to your own marketplace instead of being lost.
Scale your lead business, without limits
Juiced puts you in full control of your leads, routing, and revenue, so you can automate, optimize, and grow without chaos.
